We had a great group last Sunday at Samy’s Camera in Orange County! As always, in addition to all the material covered in class, we went out shooting for a while. It was a very hot and sunny day, a little uncomfortable, but perfect to demonstrate shooting in less than ideal conditions with very limited background choices. Here are some of our favorite images. In most cases, I’m including before and after files. If any one has any questions about any of the images, how they were done, etc. don’t hesitate to email. And of course, if you helped us out by playing model, we’ll be happy to email you the retouched file. Just give us credit if you use it in Facebook 🙂
Here’s most of the class… Thanks everyone!! We’ll have 2 more Beginning / Intermediate Wedding Photography Workshops at Samy’s this year; Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, November 7. Sign up early if you’re planning to join us!!
In the following slide show I included images that showed how we used the location, light direction and use of a reflector and a translucent panel. Flash was only used in the last image to show how to render a well exposed backlit subject against a very bright sunny sky and keeping the sky blue, using only your on-camera flash.
