Barnet Workshops » Sharing Experience, Information, Inspiration

This 3 hour class covers everything from capture to end product. What wedding and event photographers need most, especially those starting out or with a “day job”, but have the least, is time. Your time should be spent finding new clients, networking with other vendors, meeting wedding planners, marketing, and of course, shooting. Learning an […]

After our last OCF Class at our studio, Mirta and I played a little with “Clam Shell” lighting. We’ll cover this great headshot lighting style in our Advanced Studio Lighting and Posing workshop coming up Sunday, March 13th. Here are some basics on Clam Shell lighting: This technique, usually associated with fashion head shots, produces beautiful results and is very […]

We just started working with a great company who manufactures fine skin care products. Besides fashion inspired portraits of the executives of this company, we were asked to photograph their new line of products. Philip Yasskin - I am most interested in taking Barry Evans’ three workshops. The one currently offered includes a Sep. 23 date which I cannot make. Is there a provision to pay for all three and then select a make up date for the one offered on Sept. 23? If not are there other three day workshops being offered later in the year (i.e. November)? I am a complete novice with Lightroom and would like to gain the basic understanding needed to use this program plus more.
    Thank you.ReplyCancel

admin - Hi Philip, thanks for your note. The Develop Module, covered on September 23rd is very important. This is the 2nd time we’ve presented this LR series with Barry, and I’m sure we’ll do it again. Maybe even this year. I would suggest the following: Purchase the 2 classes you can attend (you’ll get a discount there) and then, when we offer the series again, purchase the one you missed. At that time, don’t purchase the last class online, call us and remind us that you are making up a class, and we’ll offer you a discount. How does that sound? If you’re starting out in Lightroom, this series of classes will be very helpful. What kind of photography do you do?ReplyCancel
