We had a great time teaching our the studio and environmental lighting portrait class. It was the first time Samy’s offered this class and it had a great response. There are two more scheduled in the next few weeks, so check Samy’s Camera class schedule for more details. We really enjoyed meeting our attendees and Joe did a great job breaking down the ins and outs of achieveing beautiful light in studio. We used large soft boxes, umbrellas, colored gels, gobos, backgrounds lights, reflectors and a Mola beauty dish (love it!). We spent about an hour outside by our favorite train tracks and demonstrated the self contained Pro Photo strobe which we take on location when there is no power available. Later, I downloaded the cards and demonstrated a little Lightroom, Photoshop retouching and Album Design.
